President James Garfield Funeral New Orleans Civil War General Meyers Signed

  

A History of the Proceedings in the City of New Orleans, on the Occasion of the Funeral Ceremonies in Honor of James Abram Garfield, Late President of the United States, Which Took Place on Monday, September 26th, 1881. Original copy printed by A. 255 pages - including engraving leafs.

8.75" x 6.25". Both were Jewish Confederate Officers in the Civil War which was not common. Original boards have been professionally cleaned, touched up and book has been rebound - no loose pages. The last few pages at the back and the cover page have been patched and repaired.

Insect holes through out the book and some damage around the edges. Restoration work was done by nationally known book conservator with over 50 years of experience. All the work done can be reversed in the future, if needed.
