This Report regarding the Civil War was Printed in 1866 by Stevens & Sayward (Printers to the State, Augusta) for the Governor and Legislature. Unbelievable Reference Book of Maine's Sons during this Turbulent Time in History. Of course, the first search I did was for Col. Chamberlain who was a Native Son of Maine. Photo 11 will show Chamberlain's Name and info in the Remarks section with Promotion to Brigadier General.

Top of photo 12 features Joshua's Brother Thomas who also served in the 20th Maine as a Lt. And Discharged as a Lt. Many pages list Name, Age, Residence, Date Mustered and Remarks.
