Beautiful mourning ribbon of General Sherman. Silver print on black silk with a portrait of the man himself. It does lack the pin on the back, but everything else is in very good condition. Shermans funeral procession lasted four hours and and took place on Feb 21st 1891 in St Louis. 12,000 Union Soldiers marched for the late general on a seven mile march to Cavalry Cemetery.
