CIVIL War Tennessee Confederate General Cheatham Order

  
An original Civil War Order from HQ Cheatham's Division "PC AT" (Polks Corps, Army of Tennessee) at Shelbyville, Tenn, Feb 23, 1863 ordering Brigade Commanders to forward a list of all officers of regiments raised in territory now within Enemy Lines and the current status of each officer, by command of Major General Cheatham & sgd by Major John Ingram as General Benjamin Cheatham's AAG. John Ingram was a notable Confederate officer who served under General Cheatham during the Chattanooga and Chickamauga campaigns.

The reverse is pencil signed by officers incl Colonel Horace Rice Hall, 29th Tennessee. 1p 8 x 11 ink on brown paper, Age spots, edge wear, reverse w order book edge remaining, Overall VG.
