Written on a 7 3/4" x 5" sheet of stationery imprinted "Headquarters, Military Division of the Atlantic". The letter is framed with the original transmittal envelope addressed in Meade's hand to Myers and a printed General Order issued by Pennypacker in 1876.
All appear to be laid onto an early piece of pasteboard (not examined out of frame). Also included is a 19th century engraved portrait of Pennypacker. Condition: Mailing fold lines, light soil, generally good condition. A note about packing: Check our feedback.
