Handy from the Brady Glass Negative. Measures 8 X 10 overall. Some notes in pencil on reverse as well as Handy's stamp.. A spectacular original portrait of Gen. Handy (died 1932) was a Wash.

Photographer and was in possession of all the Brady negatives until they were turned over by his estate to the Library of Congress in 1954. The Library of Congress website has more information about the Handy-Brady Collection.
