Original Glass Plate Photo of General George Picket by Brady. I believe this is a contact print made by L. Handy from the Brady Glass Negative. A dramatic original sharp portrait of Gen. George Picket with incredible clarity. Handy (died 1932) was a Wash. Photographer and was in possession of all the Brady negatives until they were turned over by his estate to the Library of Congress in 1954.
