This photo of Brigadier Generl Simon Barstow was presented to Mrs. Barstow written at the top on the back of the frame. Barstow, on General Meades staff for many years. Presented by him(General Meade) to his mother Mrs.
Barstow my grandmother, Helen Barstow Condit. The rest under it I cannot decipher with the handstyle of writing. I think it says presented with 1st Lt. Commander Parker but don't quote me on that. Looks to be in a period frame.
Water stains on front see pictures. Inscription on back has been sealed with plastic. Barstow infact worked with General Meade many years. It is kind of hard to put a value on a piece like this so I tried to price it at what I thought was fair.
