Beautiful Civil War era engraving of General Burnside with hand drawn pen wash depictions of the battles he was in charge of, done by famous German born artist and lithographer William Momburger. Engraving is signed by Momburger himself on bottom right. An amazing piece of history and art. Battle image are so detailed and perfectly done by Momburger showing off his talents as an artist.
