General John Floyd was US Secretary of war in the 1850s during the Utah Expedition or Mormon war. An original 1861 Bank Copy Letter dated January 24, 1861 Letter from the Bank of the State of Missouri, St Louis, to Secretary of War J. Floyd was never tried for these accusations as the contracts were is such disarray when he departed his office that a paper trail. I got this with a group of Russell Majors & Waddell Company contract copy letters from an estate of the descendants.
