Two cdv's of General George Frederick Nichols. General George Frederick Nichols 118th New York Infantry, Civil War Cdv Gates New York. Wounded at the Battle of Drewry's Bluff and the battle of Fort Harrison. This cdv shows just how much a toll the many hard battles took on Nichols. I've added a second cdv of what I believe to be the clean cut version of Nichols when first arriving in NYC for enlistment. Hard to ID for sure because no identification on this cdv. Yet both cdv came from the same Plattsburgh family. This CDV s are a part of a family archive.
