1962 Henry DeLamar Clayton, Confederate Major General, University of Alabama President, Politician and Judge Vintage 1 Photograph. Measures approximately 4.25" x 5.5".

The photo is actually an image of Clayton in street clothes but a Civil War artist has skillfully painted a Confederate uniform beneath his head for publication. Crystal clear with excellent detail. Photograph has been affixed to a mount. Some staining and pinholes present on the mount portion.

Photo shows some creasing and light staining. Great vintage Civil War photo originating from a newspaper archive.
