Antique Palmer & Co LG Candle Lamp & Shade c. 1850 Civil War General Estate

  

Solid brass with original glass shade and original candle sleeve insert. Also includes modern brass adapter for smaller taper style candles. Family recalls that lamp belonged to Mary Pope, and was likely inherited from her father and possibly even her grandfather, which fits with the date of manufacture of the lamp and the quality of the estate.
