Your Classic Era Train Headquarters! LIMITED OFFERING FROM THE LIONEL COLLECTORS CLUB OF AMERICA IN 2012. You are looking at a GREAT IDEA. This is a set of two steam engines from the 19th Century, the two involved in the Great Locomotive Chase. In fact, this release commemmorated the 150th Anniversary of the Chase.

One engine is the famous General. The other is the engine known as the Texan.

They have different color schemes. This set was a special release from the Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA). One of the neat things about these locomotives is that they have smoke and digital sounds. And even better, the sounds are unique to each engine!

So it is not two of the same. Only listed as used because the box had been opened, so we tested them for you tough job, but someone has to do it! The rollers and wheels do not look like these had ever been on rail. Box is all here with inner boxes and certificate of authenticity.
