Condition as seen, Colonel BBG Ira Jackson Bloomfield ALS on his Legal Practice Letterhead letter in 1889 to General Henry M Cist. Residence Bloomington IL; 26 years old. Enlisted on 8/15/1861 as a 1st Sergeant. On 8/15/1861 he mustered into "C" Co. He was discharged for promotion on 1/13/1862.

On 1/28/1862 he was commissioned into "K" Co. He was Mustered Out on 7/20/1865 at Louisville, KY.
