Civil War Bureau of Records of the War of the Rebellion certificate 1890

  

This is an Original certificate from the General Headquarters State of New York Adjutant Generals Office. It is dated October 9th, 1890 and states the record of Dennison S Ammeman and his dates of enlistment, May 22, 1861 and when he was honorably discharged on August 9, 1862. He was a musician in the band, 33rd regiment New York Volunteers. It is not often you find paperwork with the war of the rebellion referring to the civil war. Measures 10.5 by 8.5 inches.
