In this one-page letter signed, U. Congressman Wheeler writes to General Marcus Wright about properly commemorating Civil War soldiers. I received the list of field officers and I thank you very much for the same. I had a talk with Col Ainswith & he wants to have a law passed & an appropriation made to have the names of all the officers, non-commissioned officers & privates who served in either army.
