Great Perimeter of all the Major Civil War Battles. 125th Anniversary of Lee Surrendering to Grant.

Would make a great gift or keep for yourself! The image of Grant is done in black and white. Great capture of him in his uniform near the end of the Civil War.

The paper has an antique yellow/white coloring to it. The perimeter has all the major battles of the Civil War printed around the outer edge of the print.

Then great detailing of cannon, flags and soldiers within it. Nice scrolling inside to finish up the elegance of the piece. The artist's name is printed on the piece and it is dated 4/9/91, which was the 125th anniversary of the General Lee surrendering his army to General Grant at the Appomattox Courthouse. The piece is also signed in ink further down. What makes this offering even more intriguing is that we also have a print of Robert E Lee.

The Vintage Ulysses S Grant Print in frame is 19" tall, by 14.5" across, by 1. The Print showing thru the matting is 13-1/8" tall, by 8-3/8" across. Beautifully golden brown frame with metal corners that give the frame a real special look then has a narrow black and then golden colored wood interior perimeter.

The matting is a deep blue with a gold wood interior where the matting makes contact with the print. The paper backing is in place. The piece was framed by Lutterbein's Gallery in Wapakoneta, OH, per the stickers on the back of the piece. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
