The corners of the CDV are bumped a bit as depicted in the photograph. Lawrence & Houseworth were extremely well known as period opticians and photographers. In the following year, they turned to publishers themselves, issuing the first of the famous stereoscopic views of the West. This image is extremely difficult to locate.
